Meet the Trainers
Felix Deer – LemonBody Founder
Captain Felix Deer joined the Army in 1985 and served in a number of Training Officer roles, qualifying as a Unit Fitness Officer in 1986. Since leaving the Army in 1994, Felix has sold property, built houses and flown airliners for a living, but has always maintained his keen interest in Fitness.
A pioneer in mixed ability group fitness workouts, he freely admits to having “mostly hated” P.E at school and is of the firm belief that making workouts fun and catering for all abilities is vital in helping people get fit and stay happy and healthy.
His hobbies include Flying, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Weight Lifting, Trail Running and Conkers. Felix is 51 and lives in Surbiton with his dog, Ning Nong.
Sean – Senior Instructor and Head of Training
Sean was given his first training programme by his Father when he was just 13 years old and since then he has had a passion for fitness and exercise.
His work as an actor and model requires Sean to stay fit and in great shape, so it was a natural progression for him to expand his knowledge and qualify as a Personal Trainer in 2012.
Sean has a huge passion for health, sport and fitness and has found Personal Training to be an incredibly rewarding job and very much enjoys instructing our Members at 1000 Calorie BootCamp.
He also has a great deal of experience training within the gym and as an athlete, competing in the Decathlon, Triple Jump and 200m.
Sean lives in Kingston and his hobbies include weight lifting, rock climbing, athletics and eating at Nandos (it’s addictive!)…
David – Advanced Instructor
David became a personal trainer in 2005 and has worked extensively in the fitness industry after graduating from St Mary’s University with a degree in Sports Science.
David started playing sports and exercising at a young age and has played at international level in Rugby Union, playing for Scotland U21’s and Scottish Exiles as well as county and club and teams.
His hobbies include Fishing, Running, Rugby and Weight Lifting. David is 27 and lives in Twickenham with his Fiancée.
Natasha – Advanced Instructor
After Leaving University in 2011, Natasha decided to pursue a career in Health and Fitness and began running her own Personal training Company, which is very successful.
She is very passionate about health and exercise and is a very accomplished athlete, competing at the highest national standard in distance running. Natasha competed internationally for England in 2010 and her husband is a World Class distance runner and Olympic athlete, competing in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
With her extensive Athletics Training experience, Natasha has worked with some of the best Distance Running and Strength Coaches and she brings this this knowledge and experience to her BootCamp Workouts.
Grant – Advanced Instructor
After serving 6 years in the British Army, Grant trained to become a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. He has worked for various health club operators and became a sales manager for Virgin Active, where he also taught classes and provided Personal Training for his members. A former gymnast, Grant has always been passionate about health and fitness and keeps himself in shape with Cross-Fit and regular obstacle assault courses throughout the year. He often brings this experience into his BootCamp Workouts – they’re tough, but Grant prides himself on making his Workouts fun and never boring!
James – Advanced Instructor
James has a passion for fitness that he brings to his many personal training clients and to his very popular Boxing BootCamp Workouts for LemonBody. A martial arts expert and MMA fighter, James is expert in making his Glove and Pad Workouts unique, tough and exciting.
His hobbies include MMA, Boxing, Weight Training, and “high speed croissant demolition” at which he excels.
We need more Instructors!
LemonBody has ambitious expansion plans for the future and we are growing rapidly.
We need more great instructors to run our new 1000 Calorie BootCamp Workouts and to service our Corporate Clients. You’ll be required to pass a physical fitness test and undergo a comprehensive Training Programme with us.
